The experience that inspired us
A proven spark of curiosity
Before the Foundation was established, the Taste of the Caribbean program at The Children's Village in New York introduced approximately 500 children to 19 Caribbean dishes. Their excitement and curiosity showed how powerfully food can open the door to cultural discovery.
This earlier program inspired the Foundation; it is not reported as completed Foundation impact.
